AUDIO VISUAL PRESENTATION THEATRES
|
| In the early 1970s Cloyd Peterson was contacted by General Telephone Company of Florida to design & build an Information Theatre to educate other corporations about their communication services. From that beginning Cloyd Peterson designed and built many audio-visual installations throughout Florida and the United States. |

ATTRACTION PRESENTATIONS
|
| In 1976 the International Oceanographic Foundation wanted someone to design an automated theater similar to the ones in a major theme park in Florida. Cloyd Peterson did indeed design that theatre and many more for the Foundation. Using 35mm film in a large film cabinet and a special projector, the theater ran unattended for 8-10 hrs a day, seven days a week for 6 years |

AUTOMATED MUSIC SYSTEMS
|
| In the early 1980s Cloyd Peterson was contacted by a major background music service to design a production/recording dubbing studio plus a music automation system. The system was to be computer based with control tape decks playing background music and varying the tempo by the time of day and day of the week. Another success story! These systems were installed in many of the music service franchise offices in the United States |

RECORDING AND PRODUCTION STUDIOS

| The 1980s included fabrication of many technically progressive recording and production studios along with the installation & maintenance of them. |

RADIO STATIONS AND NETWORK UPLINKS
|
| The 1990s provided the opportunity to rebuild a 50,000 watt four tower directional radio station in Jacksonville, Alabama. The station was returned to the air by our team and approved by the FCC. Another 5000 watt station in Valdosta, Georgia was also brought back to life. Showtech also designed and built two complete radio station uplinks. |

PRIVATE CLUBS, MUSEUMS AND TELEVISION CONTROL ROOMS

| The first decade of the 21st century has been as varied as previous years with projects ranging from several complete audio-visual installations in private clubs in Naples, Florida to exhibits in Florida museums located in Jacksonville, Daytona Beach, Lake City, and St. Augustine. Showtech also maintains all of the digital tape decks for a major television network with 85 television stations. One of the most recent large projects involved furnishing people for two years to fabricate complete Television Control rooms for a major Television Network. |
